It was very easy working with Chase to order shutters. He even installed temporary shades, which was a big help. The shutters came out perfect, the installation was quick, and I highly recommend using The Louver Shop!

Tommy's History & Experience in Window Treatments
From an early age, Tommy loved working on projects and the things he was passionate about. He used to do woodworking projects with his father, contributing to his overwhelming love for creating and building. For him, window treatments isn’t a job, it’s his passion for making something beautiful through a keen eye and attention to detail.
Maurer moved to the South all the way from California. He got his start in the marketing industry, and at this point was even running his own agency. After moving into the Birmingham area, he eventually got the opportunity to take over the region’s Louver Shop and took it by the horns.
Get to Know Tommy
While he may foster utmost excellence in the field, window treatments aren’t the only things that interest Tommy.
He spends a lot of time playing music, and even has a few songs on Spotify! He also loves doing projects with his son and teaching him woodworking skills, just as his dad did with him. When he’s not spending time with his wife, who was born and raised in Birmingham, and two kids in Hollywood, Homewood, you may even catch him with his family watching an Atlanta Braves game.

Excellent communication and service! Very happy with the results!
Always quick to respond for measurements with a grade A+ product to follow.
Great friendly service! Shades were just what we were hoping for.
Chase has been great to work with we love our blinds, highly recommend
Communication was timely and shutters arrived as they were expected. Professionals in every way!
Loved the blinds installed in our bedroom. White, plantation-like shutters. They can be adjusted to let in light but nice and dark at night. The experience with our home office was not so great. We picked several sets of blinds out of the sample book and our sales rep kept coming back saying they were no longer available. I felt sorry for him because it was not his fault but we were getting pretty annoyed. We finally settled on some that were still in production but it took awhile for installation. The quality of the blinds are great. Our sales rep and installer were both personable and responsive but someone needs to update the sample book. It made what should have been fun a frustrating experience.
We had an excellent experience working with Louver Shop Shutters. They were easy to get into touch with, came over quickly to discuss our windows, offered some recommendations, and took measurements. We were worried about how the shutters would look on a few very large windows we have and the folks we worked with were patient and knowledgeable as they helped us visualize what different options would look like in our home. We're so happy with the results! The shutters and blackout roman shades we chose look stunning and function perfectly. Honestly, some rooms in our house look brand new with these updates alone. Highly recommend and the lifetime warranty is really the cherry on top!
I could not be happier with my new custom blinds. On my initial consultation, Chase came to my home and listened to me go on about what I wanted. I wasn’t sure what I wanted myself. But he listened and was actually spot on! The blinds turned out perfectly! Exactly what I was picturing! Roger installed them quickly and went over everything with me. He is very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. I highly recommend the Louver Shop and will be working with them again in the near future!
Great, responsible and easy to work with company! Would highly recommend.
Great customer service! Professional and friendly. Will definitely use again for any window treatments needed!
We have called on The Louver Shop numerous times over the years for shutters. Recently, we moved into a new home and The Louver Shop measured and ordered plantation shutters for the entire house. The shutters were matched perfectly to our window trim color, and were received and installed promptly and perfectly!! I will always call on The Louver Shop - they are THE BEST! Very Professional, courteous, and the result is always PERFECT!
