Greg's History & Experience in Window Treatments
Greg was born in Bethesda, Maryland and grew up in Frederick. He graduated from Linganore High School and went straight into the home improvement business.
Later, he started his own painting company. Around this time, he tried hanging his first set of shutters and installing them himself–cutting and fitting them to his own windows. Friends noticed the clean outcome of his work and wanted the same professional looking window treatments for their homes. Eventually, he began offering shutters and installation to his painting customers as well–and that’s when it all started.
Get to Know Greg
Greg and his wife, Jennifer, have two grown boys who are both attending college. Their oldest studies film editing in Savannah, Georgia, while their youngest studies chemical engineering in Texas. They also love their dog, Mitchel, a CavaPoo.
Hobbies like offshore fishing and cruising on his Harley Davidson are some of Greg’s favorites. While spending time with family, though, he thoroughly enjoys attending local sporting events with them, and you can often find them cheering for the Washington Capitols.

“The Maryland/D.C. area is the best place to live in my opinion! You get to enjoy the seasons and stay near the ocean, shores and Appalachian Trail. The geography has so much to offer. I enjoy the diversity in this area, I get to meet so many different people!”
Greg loves where he lives, and always does what he can to support his community. By staying involved, he has coached youth football teams and continues to sponsor various other events, he vows full commitment to his Maryland and Virginia friends and neighbors.
