The Louver Shop of Pittsburgh has been providing custom window treatments since 1972. You will be in great hands with our years of expertise in helping customer’s decide on the perfect window coverings. Our wood plantation shutters have been his most popular seller, but more and more customers like the more energy efficient Louverwood option. For a less expensive option, some of our customers opt for custom fauxwood blinds.

We also provide a huge selection of Hunter Douglas products that will fit any budget or need. We offer Duettes, Pirouettes, and Silhouettes as well as the standard faux wood and wood blinds. Our window coverings selection varies by product, textures and colors, allowing us to offer hundreds of options.

Our Pittsburgh service area includes West Mifflin, McKeesport, Johnstown and surrounding areas. We provide free, no-obligation in home consultations as a service to homeowners, and we strive to provide the best customer service in the industry.

I was so depressed living in my condo and after two years was ready to sell it. Then I met Glenn Mull at the Pittsburgh area store. Today he and Mark installed my new blinds and I feel like I am in a totally new home!...These blinds are awesome! more importantly the service I received from Glen Mull was exceptional. The job was done in a matter of two hours. He did not leave until my place was exactly how he found it, even used his dust buster to clean up!. All I can say is that you have an excellent representative of your company in Glenn Mull. This guy has the capability to be one of your executives. (no, he is not a family member or old friend, lol) I will be spreading the word about my new blinds on my facebook with 385 friends!....

Glenn Mull was born and raised in the Western Pennsylvania area and now owns The Louver Shop of Pittsburgh. He received his degree in Journalism and Communications from Point Park University in downtown Pittsburgh. Glenn became part of The Louver Shop Team about 4 years ago after more than 20 years in the window covering and design industry. Glenn was ready to give up the extensive travel of his previous job to be able to work and spend more time in the community he loves. Glenn really enjoys the fact that he knows people all over the region and that in his line of work, he gets to meet more every day.

According to Glenn, The Louver Shop gave him “instant credibility” in the window covering industry. The Louver Shop’s 40 plus years in business, solid warranty, excellent quality, and American made products and craftsmanship are what set it apart from the competition. He was also excited to become part of The Louver Shop team because of the quick delivery and installation time and affordable price.

Glenn says that what he likes best about the job is “interacting with clients and helping them in the decision making process.” “I like to see that they are happy when I help them improve their homes. I feel like I have friends all over the place and working with The Louver Shop doesn’t feel like a job,” he declares.

“My goal for my clients is to help them visualize what would work best for them,” he states. “I review different options, help them narrow down their choices, and then deliver a product and a result that meets their style, function, and budget needs.” Says Glenn, “I try to perform that service to the best of my ability and since a lot of my business is based on referrals and repeat business, I know that I am doing a good job for my customers when my business continues to grow.”

“I also enjoy surprising my clients with how affordable such amazing quality can be” says Glenn.

Glenn says that about 50% of his business is Hunter Douglas products (blind, shades, etc.) because the wide variety of products available are great for the region’s needs which include insulation, privacy, and light control. Glenn is also one of only a few Hunter Douglas certified dealer/installers in the area. However, Glenn says that shutters are becoming increasingly popular among his customers. The Louver Shop has high quality, American made shutters of both natural wood and Louverwood and in Glenn’s opinion it is the exceptional value of these shutters that is attracting people.

Glenn spends a lot of his time working and says, “I’m blessed to be busy!” but he still finds time to be active in his church and community. He has two daughters in college and he enjoys watching their sports and activities (including volleyball) as well. Finally, he is a big Pirates fan and loves to take in a game whenever he can.

Glenn has been recognized for his achievements over the years and was part of the President’s Club for six years in his previous position. He is also a certified instructor of noted author Ron Willingham’s Integrity Selling process. But, what Glenn says is really rewarding to him is being able to own and run a successful business in the region he loves and to make his customers happy. “That is the true reward!” he declares.
