My name is Donnie Summers. My wife, Jackie, and I have operated The Louver Shop of Texas since 1990. We personally serve the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex area and have representatives in Houston, Austin and San Antonio as well to handle your needs, no matter where in Texas you may live.

I do all of the measuring and oversee installations while Jackie works in the office and handles the day-to-day operations of The Louver Shop of Texas. Jeff Abbott is in charge of installations and has over 8 years of experience and expertise installing shutters and blinds.

I worked in the drapery and blind business for 10 years prior to starting with The Louver Shop. I have a BBA from The University of Texas. My wife, Jackie, ran her family’s business for 10 years before joining me at The Louver Shop. Jackie has a BBA from Texas A&M University.

When I’m not working, I enjoy the outdoors and college football. Jackie is very involved with volunteer work and our children’s activities. We both enjoy spending time with our family at the lake and taking family vacations.
