Meet the Mesa Window Coverings Design Team
Natasha Schroeder is the proud owner of The Louver Shop of Mesa. According to Natalie, what sets The Louver Shop apart from its competition is that “its products are made in the United States and it has been a family owned business since it was started.”Natasha was originally raised in the Bay Area in California and then relocated to Los Angeles to attend school in order to learn video production and then to work as a set designer in the entertainment industry. She decided to move to the Mesa area when her sister had a baby. Natalie proclaims, “I really wanted to be an involved auntie!”
Natasha was actually part of the window covering industry from childhood. Her mother specialized in blind repair and cleaning while her grandmother made drapes. Natasha often helped out when growing up so her transition into installation for The Louver Shop in Mesa was a natural step. When an opportunity to become the owner of the Mesa dealership became available, Natasha was excited to take it.
Says Natasha, “What I really like about being part of The Louver Shop team is how supportive the company is and the marketing and advertising that they do for their dealers.” Continues Natasha, “My favorite part of the job is the designing aspect because I get to use my past experience as a set designer. But, what I really enjoy is finding the perfect window covering for my clients based upon their likes and needs.”
Natasha goes on to say, “As a certified master installer with Hunter Douglas, I also have a lot of expertise. I know what can and can’t work and I really enjoy helping my clients navigate through the various choices. My goal for my clients is to find them the perfect window coverings that meet their budget, needs, and style.”
According to Natasha, shutters are probably the most popular product in the Mesa area. “I’m also noticing a lot of motorization, which we specialize in for Hunter Douglas. I believe that both shutters and motorization are a top choice because of our climate. They provide the energy efficiency that we all need and it’s wonderful to know that your blinds are working for you to give you that.”
Natasha says that she loves the Mesa area and the people who live there. “Of course, my favorite thing about this region is the warm weather. Plus, the cost of living is just great!”Natasha stays active in the community by being a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and she also enjoys fundraising and volunteering for the local schools. When she is not busy working with her clients, she takes advantage of the Mesa area’s beautiful weather by hiking and swimming.
Natasha has earned many awards and achievements during her years in the work force but she says that her true reward is a happy customer. “When I get a referral from one of my clients that is far better than any certificate or plaque. That’s what I really value!”
