After graduating from Wichita state, Megan taught 4th grade for 5 years, and then put her creative skills to use designing and selling high end jewelry. Impressed with her design and creative skills her cousin, the previous owner of Louver Shop Wichita, offered her the business. Megan loved the idea of helping people with their homes and took the reins in 2016. She since has expanded the territory, built on outstanding customer service to create the most positively reviewed window treatment company in the area.
Meanwhile, Corbin, Megan’s husband was a highly successful real estate agent at the time, but gradually became more involved in the business alongside Megan. Because of this experience, Corbin brings a client centric focus to the business having learned how much window-treatments add to a home–both in value and design from his real estate clients and peers.
Now, both Megan and Corbin love the window-treatment industry. Not only does it allow them to provide satisfying and fulfilling customer service and products to all of their clients, it achieves a lifelong dream for them, the opportunity to work together!
While the Turpin’s don’t have kids of their own, they stay consistently involved in their family, working hard to be the favorite aunt and uncle to their 13 nieces and nephews–most of which also reside in the Wichita area.
Megan and Corbin spend all of their time together. Whether it's heading to watch baseball, wrestling, basketball or football games, or just spending time outdoors–boating or fishing, or even just in their own backyard, they always do it together!
The Turpins love their Wichita community. As they state it, “it’s a great place to raise kids, and extremely comfortable for anyone, no matter where you’re from”. They love the affordability and that retirees are also welcomed.
One interesting, unknown fact about the Turpins is that they are Shriners! Corbin utilized Shriners hospital as a child and will forever be grateful for the services they provide.

Megan and Corbin are Hunter Douglas certified and are close to completing their Interior Design Certificate. They are constantly working to stay on top of window-treatment and interior design trends and products!

They are with you from start to finish, a team that enjoys being able to play off of each other’s strengths through every step of the process.

Corbin points out that some of his appraisers say that they never get replaced if included in the sale of a home. They even have shutters in their own home.
