Jeff's History & Experience in Window Treatments

After attending college, Jeff moved to the Fort Lauderdale area, owning and operating a trim carpentry company that worked on windows, floors, and ceilings. When he and his wife began to look into window treatments for their own home, a family friend, who worked for the Louver Shop, installed their window treatments, and the results convinced Jeff to open the Louver Shop of Fort Lauderdale in 1998.

Jeff states moving to the Fort Lauderdale area was one of the best moves he and his wife have made. Both coming from military families, they greatly appreciate the quality and attention to detail. But, the couple isn’t all about work. When they have free time, the couple loves to spend time with their two boys and two dogs.

What Jeff Enjoys About the Louver Shop Shutters of South Florida Area

Family outings generally involve going to Miami Dolphins’ games, but they also enjoy fishing, boating, golfing, camping, water and snow skiing, and traveling. Jeff and his wife also support local charities and stay intimately involved in their boys’ extracurricular activities.

Jeff explains that his long history in carpentry has been a huge help in working with his Louver Shop clients, “My role is to use my experience to help guide the customer and not to overwhelm them with too many choices. I’m not there to sell but rather to help the client avoid buyer’s remorse. I’m perfectly comfortable with clients taking their time to make a decision.”
