Meet the West Palm Beach Window Coverings Design Team
The Louver Shop of West Palm Beach is owned by Jeff Sanders. According to Jeff, The Louver Shop is set apart from its competition for a variety. States Jeff, “We have been in business for a very long time, our products are made in America, our lifetime warranty is the very best, and our installers are highly skilled.”
Jeff is originally grew up in Georgia and went to the University of Georgia where he studied microbiology. After graduation, he made the decision to not attend medical school after all and instead decided that he would rather do something where he was able to work with his hands. Says Jeff, “I have always loved building and repairing things and I was always the one at my friends’ houses on weekends fixing stuff for them. I had a thought one day that I could turn my hobby into a job. So, I started a trim and carpentry business.” Jeff became part of The Louver Shop when he and his wife bought plantation shutters from the company for their home. Several years after the shutters had been installed, Jeff got in touch again with The Louver Shop because he wanted to re-install the shutters himself. After talking with Jeff the team at The Louver Shop realized that he was an expert carpenter and successful business owner so they invited him to take over the dealership in West Palm Beach. Explains Jeff, “I was already doing work where I made people’s houses more beautiful so joining The Louver Shop was a natural fit and a perfect next step. Then I discovered that I felt right at home with the rest of the team at The Louver Shop.”
Jeff asserts that what he likes best about working with The Louver Shop is making people happy. “I do really enjoy being able to provide people with a rewarding and great product,” he says. “And I really love getting to meet new people every day.”
Comments Jeff, “My ultimate priority and goal is for my customers to know that they purchased their shutters from a local guy who is honest and who is an expert. I want my clients to be able to benefit from all of my knowledge and to be happy throughout the entire process and with the final outcome. The market in South Florida can be risky sometimes for home improvement and I never want any of the families I work with to worry when I am collaborating with them.”
Jeff notes that Plantation Shutters are very much the most popular product among his customers in the West Palm Beach region. “They are durable and extremely well made so that they stand up to our climate. Plus, they really harmonize with our South Florida style of architecture,” he points out.
Jeff relocated to the West Palm Beach area after he graduated from college because he loved boating and beaches. “I really enjoy the tropical feeling of this region as well,” he comments. Jeff has resided in South Florida for more than 20 years and feels that it is truly his home. “I’m not able to get a lot of time away from work,” he says, “But when I do have time off, everything I need and enjoy is right here!”
Jeff says he is very proud of the fact that he has grown to be the 2nd or 3rd largest Louver Shop location in the United States. He is also quite proud that he has be able to do so in a very short amount of time. “I’ve done what I needed to do,” he asserts. “But what really makes me proud is the fact that much of my business is repeat business and that my clients are happy and they refer me to other families. It might sound like a tired cliché but it’s true—I really love making people happy!”
